Careers Market Organisers

NAPSA members rely heavily on the hard work and dedication of careers market organisers.

It is the goal of NAPSA NSW/ACT to work alongside careers market organisers to facilitate the promotion and execution of high quality careers events for prospective students and exhibitors.

How can NAPSA help you?

Publications:
NAPSA NSW/ACT produces an annual careers market calendar which lists over 50 careers events in NSW and the ACT. This calendar is distributed to all NAPSA members annually and has proven to be a valuable, highly sought after resource.

Market organisers have the opportunity to promote their event to NAPSA members through this calendar. Organisers are invited to discuss whether their event meets the criteria for inclusion with the Publications Officer.

NAPSA NSW/ACT also produces a calendar for Careers Advisers which lists all information sessions, dates and times provided by our members throughout the year. To view this calendar, click here.

Market Organisers are also welcome to take advantage of our Where Do You Do It Guide. This guide lists the courses offered by each of our member institutions under different areas of study and is a great tool to help prepare students attending a careers market.

Careers Market Etiquette:
As a provision of membership, NAPSA members must abide by a code of conduct at all careers events. Many of the conditions outlined in the code work to support market organisers, protect students and ensure a successful event. Click here to view the Careers Markets Expectations.

Feedback and Support:
The Executive Committee is available to provide support and advice to market organisers. At the end of each market season organisers will receive feedback obtained from our members and have the opportunity to work with the Executive Committee to implement any improvements.
